Bleach does not leave a stain, it strips the colour out of the fibre, which is why cleaning it again never works. Spot dyeing, full carpet dyeing and red stain removal, going on 25 years of it.

Bleach spot repair: why bleach removes colour rather than adding a stain, and why cleaning can never fix it
Most stains sit on top of the fibre or soak into it, which is exactly what cleaning is built to lift back out. A bleach spot is different. The bleach has stripped the colour out of the fibre itself, so there is no stain sitting there to remove. The fibre is still there, it has just gone white or gone pale where the colour used to be.
That is why running a cleaning pass over a bleach spot a second or third time changes nothing, and why a cleaner who does not do dye work will often tell a homeowner the room needs replacing. It does not. The colour gets put back into the fibre and matched to the carpet around it, and the spot disappears.

Spot dyeing vs full carpet dyeing, and how that decision gets made on site
A single bleach spot from a cleaning product, or a small trail of marks, usually only needs spot dyeing: colour mixed and matched to that section, applied and set in place. It is faster, cheaper, and does not touch the rest of the room.
Fading across a whole room from years of sun through a window, or carpet that has gone patchy from age rather than one incident, is a different job. Full carpet dyeing recolours the whole floor evenly instead of matching a dozen different faded shades one spot at a time. Which one a room needs gets decided in person, looking at how far the discolouration actually spreads, not guessed at over the phone.

Red stain removal, the failure mode that makes people replace whole rooms
Fruit punch, sports drinks, wine and some cleaning products carry dyes that bond to the fibre rather than sitting on the surface of it. That is what makes a red stain different from an ordinary spill: it is not dirt to be lifted out, it is colour that has attached itself to the carpet the same way the carpet's own dye did in the first place.
That makes it dye work, not cleaning work, and it is worth calling about before it has had time to fully set. It is also the single most common reason we hear that a homeowner was told to pull up a whole room. A red stain that reads as permanent to a standard cleaner is routine work here.
Nearly 25 years of dye work, and why colour matching is the whole job
We have been doing dye work in the Montgomery area for nearly 25 years, and it matters here more than it does on a standard clean, because dyeing is unforgiving in a way extraction is not. Every carpet has aged and faded a little differently depending on light, foot traffic and age, so the dye going into a spot has to be mixed to match that specific carpet as it is today, not the colour it was on the day it was installed.
Get the match wrong and the fix is more visible than the damage was. Get it right and it disappears into the surrounding pile, which is the actual test of whether a dye job worked. That is the part nearly 25 years of doing it teaches, more than any product or process does on its own.

Two things dyeing will not fix
Dyeing puts colour back into fibre that is still structurally sound. It does not rebuild pile that has worn thin or matted down, and it will not restore a texture that has already broken. If the carpet is faded and worn in the same spot, we say so on the visit rather than dyeing over a problem the dye cannot solve.
On some very old or heavily sun-bleached carpet the match will be close rather than invisible, because the surrounding fibre has degraded in ways colour alone cannot undo. We will tell you what to expect before any dye goes down, not after.
